Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped make my dreams come true! I couldn't have done it without you. Now it's time to get back to training!
At Great Plains Youth Football, we believe in sportsmanship first. Youth football is the game, and we are all in it together. While we all strive to be competitive, we also want to support all the competitors, as we strive to make the sport of football great. We work every day to better ourselves and to better the game.
The Great Plains Youth Football League was founded in 1994. The organization, originally named the Elkhorn, Valley & Waterloo Football League, focused on providing an environment for youth to learn sportsmanship while learning the game of tackle football. In 2016, the league became known as the Great Plains Youth Football League. Since its' inception in 1994, the league has grown from fewer than 75 players on 4 teams representing the communities of Elkhorn, Valley and Waterloo in eastern Nebraska, to our current number of more than 1,500 players on more than 70 teams representing 26 communities and programs in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.
